Financial Accountability

In this day of increased competition for charitable gifts, donors’ standards and expectations have never been higher, and rightfully so. United Way of Southwest Alabama understands the importance of ongoing organizational excellence and accountability.

In 2015, with its modest 9.95% overhead, United Way of Southwest Alabama surpasses every standard, including the Better Business Bureau’s 35% overhead guidelines. With UWSWA’s Four-Star Rating from Charity Navigator, you can rest assured that there is transparency and good stewardship throughout the process.

We strive to be the most transparent, efficient, and effective nonprofit in Southwest Alabama. Below is a copy of United Way of Southwest Alabama’s most recent audited financial statements.
