Day Of Caring

Hundreds of volunteers make a difference during United Way’s annual Day of Caring, which is a great opportunity for team-building and enables volunteers to have a hands-on impact in the
community.

Each year, volunteers spend one day at United Way partner agencies, meeting their needs by completing projects the agencies haven’t had the time, money or staff to address.

The 2016 Day of Caring saw around 30 companies, totaling more than 500 volunteers, lend a helping hand at over 30 locations throughout Mobile, and Washington counties.

In the past 21 years, more than 5,000 volunteers have participated in United Way’s Day of Caring.
