United Way is Nearing its 2019 Fundraising Campaign Goal

This week we announced that we have raised nearly of 90% of the our $3.2 million 2019 Campaign goal. Through the generosity our corporate partners, community organizations, and individuals across Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile, and Washington Counties, we have achieved this milestone. We are grateful for all of the support.

Throughout the campaign, we shared our progress for the public to see on the large thermometer on the side of the building which was created by Lucy Gafford with materials donated by Blankenship Universal Supply. Our neighbors in downtown have enjoyed seeing it steadily filling up over the last few months, often honking and waving while we update the sign.

We are thrilled with our progress but we have a little way to go to reach $3.2 million before the end the campaign on June 30, 2020. We need your help to make it to the top and our goal. The funds raised are used to support our 11 internal programs and for grants to our 46 local partner agencies who make up the community safety-net. Now more than ever, is crucial we keep it healthy so that there are resources for people in need.

If you are able, please help us reach the our goal with a donation.
