Mobile County has been awarded Federal funds made available through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) under the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program.

Mobile County has been chosen to receive $130,198 for emergency food and shelter funding and $402,412 from the ARPA-P to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county, helping to expand their capacity.

MCINTOSH, AL, December 17, 2021 – BASF contributed more than $39,000 to United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA). The funds will benefit over 50 United Way partner agencies across Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile and Washington Counties.
