DESCRIPTION:Experience the power of community and service during United Way of Southwest Alabama’s 31st Annual Day of Caring presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama\, where United is the Way we create meaningful change. On Friday\, April 4\, and Saturday\, April 5\, volunteers will dedicate themselves to impactful projects that directly support our partner agencies. Each day offers unique opportunities to make a difference — whether it’s painting\, making repairs\, planting trees\, preparing gardens\, or sorting food donations. These tasks address essential needs that agencies may not have the resources or time to tackle throughout the year. \nThis event celebrates the unity and diversity of volunteers\, highlighting how individual efforts combine to build stronger\, more resilient communities. Choose a day\, roll up your sleeves\, and join us to make a lasting impact.
