SUMMARY:United Way 2026 Annual Meeting & Campaign Kickoff
DESCRIPTION:Join United Way of Southwest Alabama for the 2026 Annual Meeting and Campaign Kickoff on Thursday\, August 27\, at Crown Hall in Mobile. Doors open and breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m.\, with the program beginning at 8:30 a.m. \nFOX10 Anchor and Executive Producer Lenise Ligon will lead a special Community Impact Panel featuring Lori Myles\, Crystal\, Danielle Faircloth\, and Gwendolyn McGrew Dale. Each panelist has been personally impacted by services provided by a United Way partner agency\, including Drug Education Council\, Dumas Wesley Community Center\, USA Health Children’s & Women’s Hospital\, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast. Their conversation will offer a firsthand look at the difference these services make for individuals and families in our community. \nKeynote speaker Ronnie Stallworth\, Sr.\, bestselling author of Cracks in the Wall\, will share his journey from homelessness and poverty to corporate leadership and encourage guests to recognize potential\, overcome obstacles\, and help others succeed. \nThe morning will also include volunteer recognition and awards honoring outstanding participation in United Way’s 2025 Campaign\, along with the official launch of the 2026 Campaign.
