Most of the books are hardback and in excellent condition\, with many labeled with AR numbers for easy organization. \nThe event is open to partner agencies\, schools\, daycares\, homeschoolers\, educators\, and the community offering an excellent opportunity to expand home and school libraries and support literacy programs. \nThe only requirement is that the books be used to promote literacy and education—not for resale.

This exciting event promises a day of competitive play\, camaraderie\, and community impact\, with proceeds directly benefiting United Way and our partner agencies serving Washington County. \nGolfers will take on the course in a three-person scramble format\, ensuring that every swing counts and every player has the chance to contribute to their team’s score. The tournament will kick off with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.\, following team registration at 7:00 a.m.. The event will take place on June 28\, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM\, at the Bayou La Batre Community Center located at 12745 Padgett Switch Road\, 36544. \nFamily Fun Day is a free event open to parents and children ages toddlers to 2nd grade.
