SUMMARY:Disaster Resilience Workshop II - Downtown Mobile
DESCRIPTION:Verizon and United Way are hosting the second in a series of Disaster Resilience Workshops on  July 29\, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bishop State Community College (351 North Broad Street\, 36603). This free\, public event is to help individuals and families be better prepared for emergencies\, especially when it comes to being financially protected and properly insured before a disaster strikes. We will also cover other key tips for staying prepared and keeping your household safe. \nThe Downtown Mobile  workshop will feature speakers and community leaders focused on emergency readiness and financial protection. A complete list of speakers and exhibitors will be available soon. \nRegistration is required. The first 75 individuals to register will receive a free disaster kit and be entered to win a generator that can be incredibly useful during times of disaster. Must be present to win.
