2021 Intern Spotlight – Daniella Amador

The United Way of Southwest Alabama welcomed Daniella Amador as a Spring 2021 intern.  Daniella attends Spring Hill College, majoring in Computer Information Systems.

She chose to become an intern for the opportunity to expand her business knowledge while improving her computer skills. She plans for a career in the computer industry. She also believes that giving back is the best way to improve our community.

While with UWSWA’s Community Impact Department, Daniella is collecting and organizing data about our partners, their programs, and their service areas. This project will help the UWSWA team with grant writing, identify resources, and improved 2-1-1’s efficiency.

Danielle’s favorite family tradition while growing up in Miami, Florida is getting together with her family on Christmas Eve. Each year her dad roasts a pig in the La Caja China.

Daniella plays softball for Spring Hill College. In her spare time, she enjoys playing softball and spending time with friends.
