President’s Blog – New Year. New Possibilities.
Every new year brings hope for me that I will morph into the best me; obviously, this has not occurred, so for 2022, I look forward to new possibilities for the United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA).
The possibility that I will have the energy, grace and wisdom to lead the United Way of Southwest Alabama’s dynamic staff as we strive to improve the quality of life in Southwest Alabama.
The possibility that UWSWA can assist more businesses achieve their corporate social responsibilities by partnering to improve education and training opportunities to create a more prepared and educated workforce.
The possibility that UWSWA can convince more individuals to give, to advocate and to volunteer.
The possibility that our partner agencies have the funding to provide assistance and services to every person in need.
I wish for each of you a year filled with love, hope, and peace. I wish for each of you to be the best you that you can be. It is truly through helping others that we become the best we can be.
