One of the marvelous things about our community is YOU. Your support of the United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) welcomes and supports people through a pooling of community resources. Your gift, combined with thousands of other gifts, changes lives and saves lives in Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile and Washington Counties.
UWSWA focuses on community and community building and recognizes that by joining forces (through our 11 internal programs, 45 partner agencies, dozens of community partners, volunteers, and donors), we can address the issues facing our neighbors, friends, and family members in their times of need.

- Financial Stability Training 1,602
- Number of Disaster Clients Served 1,180
- Physician Visits 16,370
- Number of Shelter Nights Provided 29,818
