New Board Trustee Spotlight: Christian White

UWSWA welcomes Christian White to our Board of Trustees. Christian graduate from Hampton-Sydney College in 2003 and now works as the Market Executive at Regions. He and his family of four, wife Emily and two sons James and Whit attend St. Paul’s Episcopal Church; they enjoy spending time as a family and living along the beautiful Gulf Coast.

When Christian was asked why he accepted the invitation to join the UWSWA Board of Trustees, he said, “Regions has been closely aligned with the United Way for many years. I personally have been involved as well since I began my career in 2003. I believe in the United Way. I also believe that the strength of any community is determined by the strength of organizations like the United Way.”

What does Leadership mean to you?

“Difficult to capture in a few words, but for me leadership means to develop and inspire others; to live by example; to have the right sense of balance in your life; to be proactive in efforts that are important to you; to always keep learning; and last but not lease to be adaptive in this ever-changing world.”
