At United Way of Southwest Alabama, we are dedicated to improving lives in our community through teamwork and advocacy. These efforts are key to achieving our goals of building stronger communities, creating opportunities for youth, promoting health, and ensuring financial security for everyone. Advocacy helps us connect with community leaders, volunteers, donors, and board members. By working together and speaking with a united voice, we can help create positive sustainable change.

United Way Worldwide’s policy agenda supports our impact areas: Youth Opportunities, Financial Security, Healthy Communities, and Community Resiliency. The main focus areas are Housing, Childcare, and funding for 211 systems. Together, we are making a lasting impact on our community.
