United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) is excited to announce the 2024 Mobile County Awards Reception, set to take place on September 10 at Via Health, Fitness & Enrichment Center (1717 Dauphin Street, 36604). Doors will open at 5 PM, with the program beginning at 5:30 PM.
This annual event celebrates the outstanding contributions of volunteers and organizations who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to improving the Mobile County community. The awards reception is a time to recognize the achievements and impact of these local champions, who have worked tirelessly to support UWSWA’s mission of improving lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
“We are honored to celebrate the dedication and hard work of these remarkable individuals and organizations,” said Justine Bixler, President & CEO of UWSWA. “Their passion for creating positive change in Mobile County truly embodies the spirit of our community, and we are grateful for their continued support in driving our mission forward.”
The evening will feature a formal awards presentation, acknowledging the hard work and passion of our community’s finest. Refreshments will be provided by Publix, and attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow community members and leaders.
