“Putting on this charity event is one of the highlights of the year for the Austal USA team. We are pleased that, due to the great support of our teammates and vendors, we are able to support five charities this year,” Austal USA VP for Business Development and External Affairs Lawrence Ryder said. “The Austal USA Charity Golf Invitational gives our shipbuilding team the opportunity to partner with our teammates, vendors, local community leaders and these special charities to bring awareness to their cause and assist them with achieving their missions. It provides our team an opportunity to give back to our community.”
“On behalf of the United Way of Southwest Alabama, we extend heartfelt gratitude to Austal USA, its dedicated employees, sponsors, vendors, and all tournament participants for their remarkable generosity. Together, we are creating positive change in our community—where we live, work, and play. Your support fuels the engine of progress, making our collective impact greater than ever. Annually, we are able to provide health and human services and programing for over 240,000 local people.
