United Way of Southwest Alabama will host the 2025 Clarke County Annual Meeting & Award Luncheon, which will take place on Tuesday, September 9, at the Grove Hill Senior Center. The event will begin at 11:30 AM, with doors opening at 11:00 AM. Greer’s Markets will provide lunch, and the event is sponsored by First US Bank. United Way is also grateful to the Town of Grove Hill for allowing the use of the Senior Center at no cost.
The luncheon will feature Tommy R. Wood, Jr., the Mayor of Grove Hill, as the keynote speaker. Mayor Wood, who has served as the city’s mayor since 2020, will share his thoughts on the progress of Grove Hill and the steps the community is taking to build a brighter future.
This event will recognize individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact in Clarke County and supported the mission of United Way. We look forward to honoring our award recipients and celebrating the continued progress of our community.
