We are thrilled to announce that Greg Howard has officially joined the United Way of Southwest Alabama as our new Marketing Coordinator.

Greg first came to United Way through the Mobile County Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) as a summer intern. During his time with us, he made an immediate and lasting impression with his dedication, creativity, and genuine commitment to our mission. We were fortunate to watch him grow throughout the internship, and we’re even more excited to see him bring that same passion to his new full-time role.

A proud West Mobile native, Greg recently graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in General Business and a minor in Marketing. He credits his internship with giving him the experience to sharpen his skills, explore new ideas, and make a difference in the community he calls home. Now, as a full-time member of our team, Greg will be supporting communications, content development, and outreach efforts that help share the stories of impact happening every day across our four-county region.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite traditions is taking holiday vacations with his entire family. He believes the key to a thriving community is people coming together, embracing differences, and working toward a common purpose.
