
United Way of Southwest Alabama is proud to highlight Jess Allen, City President at West Alabama Bank and a dedicated member of the Choctaw County Committee.
Through his work in community banking, Jess focuses on providing local resources, guidance, and leadership to help residents and businesses thrive. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of West Alabama and completed advanced professional training through the Alabama Banking School in 2022.
Jess has been involved with the United Way of Southwest Alabama Committee because of his commitment to serving others and helping address the evolving needs of families throughout the region. Guided by his faith and inspired by Mark 10:45, Jess believes leadership means leading by example and making a positive impact on the people and communities around him.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Jess enjoys spending time with his wife, Paige, and their two daughters, Linda Claire and Lucy. The family is active at Spring Bank Baptist Church in Silas, Alabama, and enjoys spending time outdoors together. Jess also gives back through his involvement as a high school football coach.
Jess believes Southwest Alabama’s future is built on strong, connected communities where people support one another and where traditional Southern hospitality continues to be a defining part of the region. Through his service with United Way, Jess is committed to helping build a healthier, safer, and more active community for all.
