Meet Brookelyn McWilliams, a University of South Alabama student majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. Through her internship with United Way of Southwest Alabama, Brookelyn is gaining meaningful experience while growing personally and professionally. She values the opportunity to strengthen her skills, connect with her community, and prepare for her future career as an Anesthesiologist Assistant.

Originally from Bay Minette, Alabama, Brookelyn has always been dedicated to serving others. Her volunteer experience includes supporting the 2024 Christmas Drive-Through Light Show, Back to School Bash events, annual donation drives for Oakwood Nursing Home, elementary school cafeteria assistance, and Baldwin County High School’s first Freshmen Camp.

Brookelyn believes the best way to improve the quality of life in a community is by bringing people together to meet the needs of those around them. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends, going to the gym, shopping, relaxing, and spending time with family during holiday traditions.
