
United Way of Southwest Alabama will host the 2025 Washington County Annual Meeting & Award Reception on Tuesday, September 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Chatom Community Center. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
This annual event brings together community leaders, partner agencies, and supporters to celebrate the impact of United Way’s work in Washington County and recognize individuals and organizations that are helping to create lasting change.
The keynote address will be delivered by Teresa Grimes, CEO of Washington County Hospital, who will speak to the power of collaboration and the importance of supporting local initiatives that improve health and quality of life for all.
The following awards will be presented:
Heart of Gold Award – Connie Abrams
Outstanding Campaign Coordinator – Gina Daugherty, Huntsman
Outstanding Campaign – Huntsman
Outstanding Community Partner – BASF
