Raise a Glass and Catch the Joy: Mardi Gras Social Highlights Boston Beer Tasting and Community Fun
United Way of Southwest Alabama invites you to celebrate the Mardi Gras season with an afternoon of flavor, fun, and community spirit. The 2026 Mardi Gras Social will take place Tuesday, February 10, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at our downtown office at 218 St. Francis Street—just one block from the Order of LaShe’s parade route.
This year’s gathering features something special for beer enthusiasts and casual sippers alike. Thanks to our sponsor Gulf Distributing Company, guests will enjoy a curated tasting experience featuring selections from the Boston Beer Company, known for its iconic Samuel Adams brews and creative seasonal offerings. Whether you’re a craft beer fan or just curious to try something new, this tasting is a highlight you won’t want to miss.
Alongside the tasting, guests can enjoy a full spread from Taco Mama Midtown and traditional King Cakes from Pollman’s Bake Shop. The event is designed to be relaxed and festive, offering space to connect with others who support United Way’s work across Choctaw, Clarke, Mobile, and Washington counties.
Come early, enjoy the refreshments, and walk a block over to catch the LaShe’s parade as it rolls through downtown Mobile. This is a chance to enjoy the season, support local partnerships, and learn more about how United Way is making an impact in our region.
Registration is required, and space is limited. Reserve your spot today at https://UWMardiGrasSocial.eventbrite.com
