Stacy Warrick Ferguson serves as Washington County Extension Director with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, where she focuses on workforce development, leadership, and economic growth. Her work centers on practical solutions that help communities strengthen local economies and plan for long term success.
Stacy joined the United Way of Southwest Alabama Board of Trustees because she values organizations that create real, measurable impact. United Way’s focus on collaboration, accountability, and community well being aligns closely with her personal values and professional experience.
She believes leadership means stepping forward when others need guidance and support and leading with empathy, integrity, and a positive attitude. Stacy values leadership that lifts others up and makes people feel seen and supported.
Family sits at the heart of Stacy’s life. She and her husband Brad have been married for 30 years and raised three children. Now that her children are grown, she treasures time together, especially the simple moments that once filled their evenings around the dinner table.
Outside of work, Stacy enjoys time with her family, being on the water, and reading. When she is not working, she is often tending to her 30 acre blueberry farm, where there is always something to do.
Stacy envisions a Southwest Alabama defined by growth, strong schools, thriving communities, and expanded agri-tourism opportunities. United Way of Southwest Alabama is proud to welcome her to the Board of Trustees.
