United Way is excited to welcome Malcolm Johnson as our new Corporate Relations Manager. Malcolm brings experience in marketing, events, nonprofit programming, retail leadership, tourism, and hospitality, along with a passion for connecting people, organizations, and community impact. His work has focused on creating meaningful experiences, building strong partnerships, and telling stories that bring missions to life. 

In his role, Malcolm works directly with local businesses and community partners to grow support for United Way through workplace campaigns, corporate gifts, sponsorships, and year round engagement. He helps strengthen existing relationships while identifying new opportunities for companies and individuals to invest in the work happening across Southwest Alabama. From planning campaigns and supporting employee coordinators to connecting donors with the impact of their giving, Malcolm focuses on building relationships that last.

He also works closely with volunteers, campaign leaders, and community partners to keep campaigns organized, engaging, and successful. Malcolm supports outreach efforts, networking opportunities, and communications that help share United Way’s mission and encourage new involvement across the region.

Known for his steady leadership style and strong attention to detail, Malcolm believes corporate relations is really about people. He values clear communication, thoughtful recognition, and making sure every partner feels connected to the difference they help make.
