UWSWA Announces the 3rd Annual Washington County Golf Tournament
United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) is pleased to announce the Third Annual Washington County Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 1, at The Pines Golf Course in Chatom. The net proceeds from this event will benefit 25 UWSWA partner agencies that provide essential services to people in Washington County.
The tournament will be a 3 person scramble with a shotgun start and will conclude with a 19th Hole party. Registration will begin at 9am, and the tee time is set for 10am. The registration fee is $75 per golfer, and for golfers age 65 and over, the registration fee is $60. Please note that refunds will not be issued in the event of cancelation or inclement weather.
No golf carts will be available on the day of the tournament, and players must reserve carts. The fee for a cart is $40. Alternatively, players may bring their own carts.
Payment can be made via check made out to United Way of Southwest Alabama, via Venmo at @uwswa (please include the player’s name and Washington County Charity Golf Tournament in the caption), or via credit card (call UWSWA’s office during regular business hours at 251.433.3624. Business hours are Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8:30am to 12pm).
