United Way of Southwest Alabama will host the Washington County Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at The Pines in Chatom. The organization moved the tournament from May 9 to June 6 to ensure a strong experience for players, sponsors, and volunteers. The event will continue with a three-person scramble format and an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Teams will begin registration at 7:00 a.m., followed by a morning of play and 19th Hole gathering.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit United Way of Southwest Alabama’s programs and partner agencies serving Washington County. Funds raised through the event support education, health, financial stability, and community resiliency across the county.

Golfer registration remains $100 per player. Players should reserve carts in advance due to limited availability or plan to bring their own. Businesses and community leaders can still secure sponsorships and participate in the tournament.

United Way will honor all existing team and sponsor registrations for the new date and encourages additional participants to join.
