Airbus Americas Engineering and United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) announced a series of grants worth more than $7,500 in the third year of their education partnership. This partnership was created in 2014 to invest in community programs and services that improve education.

United Way of Southwest Alabama and FamilyWize announced today that local community members have saved more than $2.3 million on prescription medications through the organizations’ local partnership, which began in 2006. The results were revealed in the annual Health Impact Report, a compendium of data reflecting the health and financial support offered by United Way and FamilyWize in its joint community initiatives across the country.
