SHOP. DINE OUT. TREAT YOURSELF. CHANGE LIVES.
Be a part of changing lives and saving lives in Southwest Alabama when you shop, dine out, or treat yourself at one of the participating merchants on Friday, June 9 and Saturday, June 10, 2023
The United Way of Southwest Alabama (UWSWA) is pleased to announce the sixth annual United Way Day, a two-day fundraiser and awareness campaign on June 9 and June 10, 2023. Led by the retail and service industries, United Way Day encourages people to shop, dine out, or treat themselves at participating merchants in Southwest Alabama, all while making a difference in their community.
By shopping at participating merchants on United Way Day, customers not only support local businesses but also help increase their donations to UWSWA. Each participant will donate an amount based on a sales component of his or her business to the UWSWA. Since its inception in 2018, United Way Day has raised over $84,116 for UWSWA and its 46 partner agencies.
