- Apply On-Line: www.dhr.alabama.gov
- Click on the green banner in the middle of the page and then select “Disaster Food Assistance Pre-Screening Form.”
- Applications will be available on-line beginning January 22nd and January 23rd, from 7 am to 6 pm and January 25th through January 29th.
- Someone from DHR will contact you by phone January 25th through January 29th. There is no need to come to the office.
DHR will be available to assist the Elderly, Disabled, and individuals who do not have access to the internet January 25th through January 29th from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

MONTGOMERY, AL – The Alabama Department of Human Resources has received federal approval to distribute Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) benefits to qualifying residents of seven counties recovering from Hurricane Zeta.
D-SNAP benefits are approved for Clarke, Dallas, Marengo, Mobile, Perry, Washington and Wilcox counties. Individuals who received SNAP benefits in November 2020 are not eligible for these benefits; they have already received D-SNAP benefits..
